The Selous Game Reserve is a vast wilderness offering a variety of game viewing options from game drives to fly camping in the bush, to walking safaris and night drives. With the camps being spread fairly far apart, the chance of meeting another vehicle while on safari are slim, allowing you to spend time watching the animals in their natural environment. A highlight of the Selous is the Rufiji River which winds through the centre of the park offering excellent boat safaris and a prolific birdlife.

The Ruaha National Park is a wild and uncommercialised area, with plenty of wildlife and the largest contingent of elephants in East Africa. A breathtaking mosaic of ecosystems combines with the quiet that surrounds you to offer one of the most memorable wildlife experiences. Known as one of the finest national parks in Africa, this is pristine and untouched Africa unspoilt by large crowds of tourists. Ruaha is a naturalist’s paradise, teeming with wildlife including large populations of lion and leopard. The focal point of the park is the Great Ruaha River with its deep gorges and swirling rapids.
