The Serengeti National Park has the largest concentration of migratory animals in the world. Designated a World Heritage Site, the name Serengeti comes from the Maasai word ‘Siringit’, meaning ‘the place where the land runs on forever’. The Serengeti contains the largest remaining concentration of wildlife in Africa, and each year boasts the greatest wildlife show on earth – the great Migration. With dramatic landscapes and an area teeming with wildlife, a visit to the Serengeti will be a memorable one.

The Ngorongoro Crater, located on the eastern edge of the Serengeti, is the largest unbroken caldera in the world. Now considered Africa’s ‘Garden of Eden’, the crater is a haven for thousands of wild game. With over 30,000 animals, visitors will have the chance to spot Tanzania’s few remaining black rhino, as well as black-maned lions, huge tusked elephants and thousands of flamingoes in the soda lake.
